Public consultations for the Country Programme Strategy development for the Small Grants Program of the Global Environment Facility, Operational Phase 6
In accordance with the decision of the National Steering Committee of the GEF Small Grants Programme, the PA National Environmental Center, in partnership with the PA "EcoContact" were selected for the development of the Country Programme Strategy for the GEF Small Grants Programme, Operational Phase 6 .
The GEF Small Grants Programme provides grants to NGOs and community organizations in developing countries to enable them to face global environmental challenges[1] , while addressing the needs of sustainable development. SGP is a corporate program of the GEF, implemented by UNDP and UNOPS. SGP started financing projects in Moldova in 2013. Since then, it has been successful in terms of financing and technical support for 10 projects through the grants offered.
Operational phase 6 (OP 6) will be implemented during 2015-2018, SGP having the aim "to support effectively creating environmental benefits and protect the global environment through local solutions at community level, bringing added value to action realized at national and global level".
In this context, the PA National Environmental Center, in partnership with the PA "EcoContact" announces the organization of public consultation meeting for developing the GEF SGP Country Strategy, Operational Phase 6.
The event will be held in Chisinau, at Summit Events Conference Centre (63, Tighina street, conference room London), from 10.00.

For participants from the territory, transport costs will be reimbursed based on the copy of the ID and ticket.
