The organization of the training on financial management and procurement within NGOs

During 7-9 December 2016, the Small Grants Programme of the Global Environment Facility organized a training sessions on financial management and procurement within NGOs.

25 representatives of NGOs participating in this session were trained in:

  • Organization of financial management according to the legislation of the Republic of Moldova;
  • Accounting for inputs, maintenance and removals of tangible and intangible assets available in the patrimony. Documentation, calculation and accounting of depreciation of fixed assets;
  • Accounting for the entry and use of available circulating assets;
  • Documentation, accounting and management of dedicated funding: sponsorship, donations, grants, humanitarian aid, grants and other funds;
  • Regulating work in NGO activities. Calculation and accounting of personnel settlements. Calculation and accounting of settlements with social and medical insurance bodies;
  • Management and accounting for goods and services in the form of financial and material assistance;
  • Expected budgeting aspects of financing NGO activities from projects and other activities;
  • Financial reporting to NGO funders - principles, instructions, structure and presentation.

At the end of the sessions, the participants received a certificate of participation.
